ABOUT GLASS ALCHEMY BOROMAX®

  • Boromax® glass is colored borosilicate or “hard” glass,
    33 COE, suitable for use in art and industry.
  • Artists use a torch to flamework/lampwork the glass
    Boromax® can also be fused.
  • Boromax® rods are 20" in length and 7mm in diameter.
    We also have a selection of 4mm & 12mm 20" rods.
  • Boromax® frits & powders are available in 5 different grades:

    25 (Pretzel salt), 38 (Raw Sugar), 70 (Hourglass Sand), 82 (Silt), & 100 (Talcum Powder or Cornstarch).
