Working characteristics: Work hot in neutral to oxidizing flame. Let cool, then strike in back of flame.
Tips: Contains crystal growth inhibitors to increase working time in yellow and amber orange range.

Tips: To strike, the glass must be cool prior to placing in back of flame.

Color Description: Designed to give a range of purples.
Properties: High color saturation, translucent, luster.
Working characteristics: This color is an oddball and has two striking temperatures. There are things it will do in the flame that it won’t do in the kiln and vice versa.
Tips: Can strike clear in flame. If clear, will not strike in kiln and needs to be struck to yellow (minimum) before placing into kiln. If purple when going into kiln, prolonged striking will make it appear black.

Tips: Great for dots on earrings or pieces that hang from the mirror of the car or in the window.
